In addition to August 15, Solemnity of the Assumption, being the anniversary of Mother Angelica’s admission to Postulancy (1944) and the anniversary of the founding of EWTN (1981), it is also the “Inspiration Day” of the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word. According to the Archives of Our Lady of the Angels Monastery: “Fr. Robert Faricy received a message during Mass at Our Lady of the Angels that Mother was to found a community of Priests and Brothers. When Father told Mother the message she said, ‘I know that, but how come you know that?’”
