Rev. Fr. Patrick Mary, MFVA was born in Cocoa Beach, Florida, but lived in various places growing up due to his father’s career in the Army. Before entering the Community, he was a student at the University of Miami. He entered the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word in October 2002 and professed final vows on August 14, 2008. Br. Patrick was ordained to the diaconate on May 21, 2011 and completed his theological studies at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary on May 4, 2012 earning a Masters in Divinity and Masters of Arts in Systematic Theology. Fr. Patrick was ordained to the priesthood on June 2, 2012. He serves as the Director of Priestly Formation, Chaplain of EWTN News Nightly in Washington D.C. and assist with campus chaplain services at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Father is also pursuing a licentiate in sacred theology from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit.
