The friars celebrated the Transitus & Feast of St. Francis of Assisi with the PCPA Nuns at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament.

The evening vigil of our Holy Father St. Francis of Assisi’s death and bears a special name — the Transitus. Franciscans around the world commemorate the passing of St. Francis from this life to the next. We read an account of St. Francis’ death by St. Bonaventure, chanted Vespers, and received a blessing with the relic of St. Francis.

Receive a blessing of St. Francis from Fr. John Paul:

Listen to the life of St. Francis of Assisi in song (composed by Fr. Joseph) and see his life in pictures. “Oh Francis” features the voices of Fr. Joseph and Fr. Patrick along with Br. Bernard on the flute:

  1. May I PLEASE have a copy of the Format Transitus of St. Francis ASAP. I am organizing it for we inactive elderly Secular Franciscans for the first time in years. We are inviting younger Catholics also so they can be encouraged to follow the Franciscan way. I need to make several copies . It would be an added bonus to have the song OH Francis by Father Joseph . I have donated to EWTN since the beginning.

    Please answer soon.
