Jesus Christ the Lord has Risen, Alleluia Alleluia! The Franciscan Missionaries celebrated the Triduum with charity and piety at EWTN, the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, the Casa Maria Convent and Retreat, St. Jude Monestary and a few other sacred places
EWTN Employees and people in the local community joined the Fr. Mark, Fr. Anthony, Fr. Joseph, Fr. Dominic, Fr. Leonard, Br. Leo, Br. Bernard and Br. John for this year’s Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday liturgies at the Network.
Fr. Paschal, Fr. Miguel, Rev. Br. Matthew and Fr. John Paul celebrated liturgies at the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament.
Fr. Patrick was the main celebrant for all Triduum events at the Casa Maria Convent and Retreat House.
Fr. Mark traveled to St. Jude’s Monastery in Marbury, Alabama to offer the Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday Masses for the Dominican Sisters there.
Fr. Joseph celebrated Easter Sunday Mass at Holy Family Church in Endsley, Alabama. Fr. Leonard celebrated Easter Sunday Mass at a hospital room in St. Vincent’s Downtown Hospital for the parents of a newborn baby. The couple are both employed by EWTN.

Thanks be to God for ALL of our. You gave me hope in my Lord and my faith again, when all was lost. I am homebound and suffer with chronic pain, but because of Mother Angelica’s legacy continually spreading the Gospel, I am learning more and more about and offering up ALL sorrows and pain to Our Lord Jesus to use for HIS Gory. You all made me feel like my pain didn’t just take away my “life” (active mobile life) but still has a purpose. Hope is used so much, but when one loses it, and is guided a way back to it, it is ENORMOUS. THANK YOU. YOU GAVE ME HOPE AGAIN.
