We are blessed to serve the spiritual needs of the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration (founded by Mother Angelica) as well as visitors to the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament and Our Lady of the Angels Monastery.
Here, we are able to share with others our devotion to the Blessed Sacrament. Our Lord is exposed in perpetual adoration, where the Poor Clares keep watch and pray throughout the day and night.
Members of our community provide:
- Mass for the Poor Clares and visitors
- Confessions twice daily
- Holy Hours, Healing Services, and Conferences for pilgrim groups
- Spiritual lessons for the Poor Clares
The Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament truly is a spiritual light here in Alabama. Find out more more about the Shrine here or plan to come visit!

I would like to donate a painting that I have done to the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament. Would it be accepted?
Your donation would always be gratefully accepted although it may be better to ask the Sisters at the Shrine for details. https://www.olamshrine.com/contact/contact/
Is the Shrine considered a local Parish ?
No. The Shrine is not a local parish as it does not have baptisms, marriages, and funerals for the faithful.
