In addition to August 15, Solemnity of the Assumption, being the anniversary of Mother Angelica’s admission to Postulancy (1944) and the anniversary of the founding of EWTN (1981), it is also the “Inspiration Day” of the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word. According to the Archives of Our Lady of the Angels Monastery: “Fr. Robert Faricy received a message during Mass at Our Lady of the Angels that Mother was to found a community of Priests and Brothers. When Father told Mother the message she said, ‘I know that, but how come you know that?’”

  1. EWTN has catechized me and many of my Third Order Fraternity. It has given us such witness of Faith and Hope. Thank you all at EWTN. God Bless.

  2. Thank You Lord Jesus for Mother Angelica and EWTN, I love having Mass right here in our home every day, witch is the greatest gift anyone could have given me. Thanks to all in honor of our Blessed Mother. Amen

  3. Thank you so much, Fathers and Brothers for all you do and sacrifice for us your faithful, you give so selflessly to us and for us. I received your Fishers of Men newsletter in the mail today, and am enjoying reading it and seeing the World Youth Day Krakow photos; I am also finding your newly designed website a good place for all MFVA news and updates. You are all in my daily prayers.
