However you voted in our presidential election, feelings are no doubt running high. Whether you’re happy, disappointed or upset about the results, there is still one thing left to do in this election season:
Pray for our next president.
As Christians, we have recourse to one of the most powerful tools there is: asking the saints to intercede for our nation’s leadership and lead them towards virtue. Please join us in this time leading up to the Presidential Inauguration in praying for the next administration — that human life will be protected, that religious liberty will be respected and that each person will be treated with the dignity they deserve as a son or daughter of God.
While we are blessed to live in a country where we can take place in the democratic process of choosing our own president, we must also always remember that it the Lord who is ultimately in control.
“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things, nor future things, nor powers, nor height, nor depth,* nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Do you have any special intentions we can pray for? Let us know here!
