I wish the music for the masses were recorded. I was brought back to the church through music (I’m a vocalist and am now a cantor). One of my niece’s is unbelieving but musical. I gave her Chesterton’s Orthodoxy for Christmas. I wish I could give her copies of the chants and motets from the Sunday masses. Music goes into our ears and by-passes our resistance to go to our heart and mind.
