HANCEVILLE, Ala. – Fr. Luke Fletcher gave a heart warming and riveting retreat to the employees of the Eternal Word Television Network.
Several EWTN employees attended the retreat at the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville, Alabama held on February 16, 2018. The one-day event began with a 9:30AM reflection. From there attendees had the option to go to confession, pray privately or visit the gift shop. At 11:30AM all attended Mass celebrated by Fr. Leonard with Fr. Fletcher as homilist. Lunch followed at 12:30PM. During the break they had the opportunity to visit with the Poor Clare of Perpetual Adoration Sisters. Father closed with a powerful talk on the sufferings of Christ.
Fr. Leonard, the EWTN Employee Chaplain and the Network Theology Department organize the retreats. A few of the friars are present to enjoy the event but more so to encourage the employees.
