DETROIT – Fr. Patrick Mary started four-year degree program for a Licentiate in Sacred Theology in the New Evangelization on July 11, 2016.
The STL in the New Evangelization degree program is the first of its kind. Initiated and facilitated at Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit, Michigan, it receives accreditation from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas (the Angelicum). The curriculum consists of courses in Sacred Scripture and Church doctrine with an emphasis on how to present these truths pastorally within the challenging secular culture we live in. Special attention is also given to informing students on family and bioethical issues.
Father finishes his first of four summer semester ends on August 12. He will take an online course each academic semester and attend a full time one month summer session till he finishes the program in 2020. We are proud of father and ask you to pray for him.
