Join the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word for Holy Week and the Sacred Triduum

As we approach the holiest time of the liturgical year, the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word (MFVA) invite you to join us in celebrating Holy Week and the Sacred Triduum in the EWTN Chapel. This sacred season offers a profound opportunity to reflect on Christ’s Passion, Death, and Resurrection, and we are honored to share this journey with you through prayer, liturgy, and devotion.

Our 2025 Holy Week schedule is as follows:

  • Holy Thursday
    Begin the Triduum with the Divine Office and Rosary at 7 AM, followed by Confessions at 11 AM. At 5 PM, we will celebrate the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, commemorating the institution of the Eucharist and the priesthood.
  • Good Friday
    Join us at 7 AM for the Divine Office, Rosary, and Divine Mercy Novena. At 10:30 AM, we will pray the Stations of the Cross, followed by Confessions at 11 AM. The solemn liturgy of the Passion of the Lord will take place at 3 PM, a time to venerate the Cross and reflect on Christ’s ultimate sacrifice.
  • Holy Saturday
    The day begins at 7 AM with the Divine Office, Rosary, and Divine Mercy Novena. Confessions will be available at 11 AM, leading into the Easter Vigil at 8 PM, where we celebrate the triumph of Christ’s Resurrection .
  • Easter Sunday
    Rejoice in the Resurrection with a televised Mass and Rosary at 7 AM, followed by the Divine Mercy Novena and Rosary at 2:30 PM. The day concludes with televised Vespers at 4 PM, giving thanks for the gift of salvation.

Additionally, Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament will be available from 8 AM to 5 PM each day, except on Good Friday and Holy Saturday, providing a sacred space for personal prayer and reflection.
