The friars held their General Chapter Tuesday, June 18, 2019. A “General Chapter” is conducted every three years and one of the primary points of business is to elect friars to fill various positions in service of the community. In the presence of Bishop Robert Baker and Fr. Vincent Bresowar, the following were elected to serve the community for the next three years:

Community Servant (superior): Fr. Mark
Community Vicar: Fr. Anthony
1st Councilor: Fr. Dominic
2nd Councilor: Fr. Leonard
3rd Councilor: Fr. Paschal
4th Councilor: Br. Leo

We are very grateful for all of the love, support and prayers that so many of you show for the friars.

  1. Congratulations to all elected Friars. Nice to see Fr. Anthony looking good. I hope he will soon say TV mass so I can once again hear his homily. God bless.

  2. May the Seraph Saints of Love Divine, Francis and Clare of Assisi, be with you all ways in your dayly walk with the Lord and His Church and His peoples, in faith, hope, and love to wards all. From an avid fan of EWTN here in The Philippines.

looking forward to hearing and seeing Fr Anthony soon..

  4. Congratulations to all elected! Will we ever see Fr. Anthony again? I will never be able to drive to the monastery and I miss Him very much. Even the picture above looks like a few years ago….Fr. John Paul is much thinner now. Please Fr. Anthony, will you consider appearing on an episode of Life on the Rock? We never even heard a goodbye and the response we receive in contacting EWTN is that you are dealing with medical issues. You are in my prayers. I too, have a debilitating illness and know how it affects every aspect of your life. May God truly bless all of you!

  5. In the above group photo who is the 7th person? I miss hearing Fr. Anthony. God bless all of you.

I was going through a very difficult life event. Your homilies gave me the courage to carry my cross. I hope you are well.

  9. I’ve been thinking of Fr. Anthony! He became the Community Servant after, was it Fr. Shaunessy, and followed by Fr. Mark. That was the time my husband and I started watching EWTN programmings! I know Fr. Anthony’s dealing with medical issues, and I pray for him too, and am looking forward to see him once again presiding over at the Daily Mass, and hearing his inspirational homilies! Congratulations, Fr. Anthony, on your Silver Jubilee! And congratulations, too, Fr. Mark, and all the friars, in this Community! May God bless you more!

  10. Praised be Jesus Christ! Thank you Friars for all your prayers and devotion, my husband and I pray for your ministry too. My husband is Baptist by faith and happened to join me once listening to Mother Angelica live, that was all it took, he is hooked now. He also enjoyed Fr. Anthony’s sermons, he related so well to him. I pray all is well.
    God bless you all.
